According to scanner traffic, deputies arrived around 8:45 PM. I heard that the woman had been shot in the arm and deputies used a tourniquet before she was taken to Kaiser South Hospital. Reports over the air also mentioned that the victim’s son returned fire at the shooter. Several residents were evacuated while deputies searched the area. The Sheriff’s Department later gave a statement on camera, which I recorded live at the scene.
