License Plate Lookup – Find Out Who Owns That Vehicle Legally

Need to know who owns a license plate? Whether it’s for legal, personal, or business reasons, our license plate lookup service provides fast, legal, and confidential results. As a licensed private investigator, I have access to data sources not available to the general public—and I only perform lookups for permissible purposes under the law.

Why Use a Private Investigator for a License Plate Lookup?

A common question we get is: “Is it legal to lookup a license plate?”
Yes—but only if it falls under specific legal reasons outlined in the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA).

As a licensed private investigator, I conduct legal lookups for clients who meet one or more of these valid purposes. This ensures the process is completely lawful and confidential.
