Vehicle Pursuit Richards Blvd – Sacramento Police Scanner

On April 18, 2026 at 5:59 AM, Sacramento County law enforcement responded to a vehicle pursuit that ended near Richards Boulevard and Interstate 160 in Sacramento. A suspect operating a white box truck with a company logo fled from police, eventually crawling out of the vehicle and claiming to be held hostage. Dispatch coded the incident as a 901—auto accident—as officers secured the scene.
